Next time you are making Bloody Marys, try infusing your vodka with onions, celery and horseradish! The reason for this is texture. My biggest problem with most Bloodys is that they are too thick. Way too thick. I know people like all the "stuff" in them. But I like to have a distinction between food and cocktails. So what did I do? I decided to infuse the vodka with all the goodies, strain it out, and enjoy the bloody.
This post isn't about how to make the perfect Bloody Mary mix, it's about jamming in a ton of flavor in and still be able to sip it through a straw. Hope you enjoy it and also keep in mind this infused vodka would work great in a Gibson, Martini and many, many more. Up your home bar game.
Cheers!
Quinn.
